Built from the ground up over a 2 ½ year period with a historical focus and the utmost attention to detail. Featuring an original 1928 Model A ford roadster with custom leaned back windshield, handmade aluminum hood, original Auburn dash, set on 1932 Ford rails. Powered by a newly built 276 cubic full-race flathead motor, running through a 39 Ford transmission and a Halibrand quick-change rear end. Completed in 2010 with an impressive collection of parts sourced over a 10-year period. Garaged and rarely driven since completion (less than 250 miles). Clear Ohio title in my name. Body & Interior: • 1928 Ford, Model A Roaster, original body • Finished in black epoxy primer • Cowl tank filler neck removed filled and smoothed. • 1932 ford headlight bar modified, original • BLC style headlights, new reproduction • 1932 grill shell, insert, radiator cap and bezel, reproduction. Painted gloss black urethane. • 1932 Ford porcelain radiator emblem, original. • Handmade aluminum hood with leather straps. • Model A windshield frame and glass, modified original (frame). • Windshield stations, cut down and modified. Chrome plated. • 1932 Auburn dash sheet metal, original, modified to fit Model A. ($$$ really rare!!) • 1932 Auburn instrument panel, original re-chromed. ($$$ rare!) • 1940’s-50’s Stewart Warner curved glass gauges 2 5/8", original. Motor:• 59AB flathead motor, rebuilt with less than 250 miles. • Extensively relieved and ported. 40hrs labor on block work alone. • Magna-fluxed and checked to be crack free. • Machine work and rotating assembly balancing done by Fowlers Engine Columbus OH. • 4" stroke crankshaft, new Scatt. • Ford 8ba connecting rods, new Ford. • 3 5/16pistons, new Ross. • Potvin 3/8 camshaft, re-grind on original Ford camshaft. • Adjustable lifters, new. • Oil pump, New Ford. • Headers, Reds Headers. • Edelbrock block letter heads, new (polished needs re-buffed) • Edelbrock slingshot dual manifold, new (polished needs re-buffed) • 2 Stromberg 97's, new (have corrosion / gas stains from sitting). • Harman Collins dual coil distributor, Original. • 6V electric fan, not currently installed but comes with. Note: Club plaque and license plate not included. Terms While this car was built with care and attention to detail, it is an antique car built with antique parts. It runs, drives and stops but due to the nature of the car and its age, it has character, there are imperfections, it is not perfect or pristine. The title is clear, however it will be noted that the millage will be listed “not actual”. For interested parties located in Japan, email correspondence and translation in native Japanese is available. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.
