Must sell my baby "Bonnie Blue". I am the second owner of this two top two seat roadster convertible. I purchased this car from a Dr. in Florida on July 2, 2000. He purchased the car new from Regency Autohaus, Naples, Florida 6/21/85. She has always been garaged. I drove short distances on sunny days (never had her feet wet!). Never ever driven in snow. This car has been lovingly cared for and maintained by a Mercedes mechanic. Car purrs along quietly with solid feel. There is no rust, no damage, no body work. Never been in an accident. The original paint shows luster associated with 30 years of wash and wax. The bumpers and bright work around windows are shiny and bright. The interior is completely original & as manufactured by MB factory. Grey leather seats, rugs, dashboard, console, A/C, visors, & radio/cassette player are original. So are all gauges, mirrors, glove box, and gas tank. Original books still in glove box in original plastic sleeve: owner's manual, MB engine/chassis/units complete catalog & schematic, maintenance booklet, operation & care of 380SL tops, 1985 owner's service and warranty policy, MB North America Dealer directory, Becker radio instruction booklet. First Aid Kit fitted behind passenger seat is exactly as issued by factory. Spare tire is exactly as it came from factory with tag attached. The original blue rag top shows minimal fading. I used the hard top once and it looks like new. Selling the car with both tops & hard top trolley. All gauges (except odometer),radio, power automatic retractable antenna, power windows, and all lights work. Odometer stopped working 18 months ago at 99, 453 miles. A/C works but is a bit weak. What is not original? Spark plugs, air & fuel filters of course. Tires were replaced but wheels & hub caps are original. The front shocks and brakes were replaced 2 years ago. I still have plates, registration, and insurance on my baby. All in all, it is a lovingly cared for garaged survivor car. This car is perfect for a hobbyist or collector looking for a vintage MB that has not been hacked up or mucked about.
