super rare California car , The ZENN EV was ahead of its time (Ebay will not let me add external links but you can use Google to get all kinds of info on the ZENN cars). It was far superior to the GEM electric cars which were really glorified golf carts. This one has real doors, wipers and power windows. It has the important upgrades like the removal of the 25mph speed limiter, so it can achieve speeds of 35-40mph. It also has a PakTrakr gauge to precisely monitor individual voltage of each batteries (there are six 12 volt regular lead acid batteries, cheap to replace! Or upgrade to AGM/Optima batteries). Clean title California car, Odometer READS JUST 11 MILES - thats right 11 MILES, as the unit was replaced but the actual car has approx 6000 original miles total. This EV charges using a regular 110v house outlet, no special cords needed. Any grounded extension cord will work! The original batteries were replaced so they are newer but I dont know the date codes. At least five of the batteries should still be able to be recharged if they are taken out, individually conditioned and slow charged. The local commercial battery store can do this, and they sell used batteries for $48 with warranty if you are wanting to replace them, but personally I would do it right and just go with brand new Optima or AGM batteries for maximum range. You should get 40-50 miles range with AGM batteries, and I regularly see coupon codes for Pep Boys, Auto Zone and Advance Auto for 25-35% off and will happily send you any coupon codes I find. This is the perfect car for tight city parking as its shorter than a MINI but has tons of cargo space. Its also great for planned golfing communities, or large properties where you need a ranch vehicle etc that can be charged with a regular extension cord. The car will need to be towed away, it rolls and steers easily and is very light. It had no radio from the factory but is pre wired for one. The rear warning triangle sticker , star window sticker and Electric sticker on the passenger door are all easily removable if you want a cleaner appearance .
