1969 Plymouth Road Runner I am selling my 1969 Road Runner that I had Big Plans to restore. When I went to look at this car, I was skeptical at first when I was told that it was low mileage and very little rust. Someone began the restoration by dismantling the car and changing the under the hood color to a yellow. As You can see by the pics, it wont take much to restore this car back to its original condition. The underbody is what sold me on purchasing this car. Unbelievable on how solid the floor pans and frame rails are. All indications are, this is an actual 50,000 mile car with numbers matching engine and transmission. The paint code 97 97 is a rare color found on this car in 1969, Spring Rallye Green Black interior with the bench seat. Needs recovered Dash has a minor crack The cylinder heads have been rebuilt and were in plastic bags when I purchased the car. minor cleaning to gasket surfaces What I know that is missing is the drive shaft, trans bell housing, and the rear glass. I was told that the previous owner fell ill while in the process of restoring the car and put it in his barn for the past several years. I'm still trying to get my hands on anything missing. No Guarantee I have the original 383 number matching engine and 4spd transmission. The engine will require a complete teardown and rebuild.
