You are bidding on an original 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Town Sedan. Car was originally from Minot, North Dakota, but spent over 40 years in dry storage in Crookston, MN, and purchased from an estate in 2011. I purchased the car in early 2012. The car is an amazing example of a 77 year old car that has not been touched or changed except for new tires and gas tank. As the saying goes, "they are only original once" and this car is the finest example of that statement that I have ever seen. The car runs and drives down the road at 55 to 60 mph without any issues. I was able to trailer the car to Cost Mesa California in the fall of 2012 to have the car judged as an original survivor by the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. The car scored 93 points out of 100, as I was docked for not having a trunk mat or remnants of a mat in the trunk. I was able to secure remnants of a trunk mat at the Lambrecht Auction sale in Nebraska two years ago, and they have been placed in the trunk to address that issue.
