All electronics work. AC blows cold. Non-smoking/nonpet owners. Garage kept. Clean interior. Serviced only by Ford certified technicians. Just went through 100,000 mile tune-up. Both remote keys available. If you don't know much about Escape hybrids, they are quite reliable. The battery stores practically last forever. There were several Ford Escape cabs in San Francismco retired with 300K+, and one patrol vehicle is still going past 500K! Just look it up! One theory about their extended life is that there is a lot less friction in an electrical engine. My wife used it mainly to drive the kids to school. She could go weeks without filling it at the gas station. She was very environmentally conscious at the time but I had my doubts about hybrid technology. Now I have no regrets! What we saved in gas paid for the vehicle, and this has been the most reliable vehicle we have owned! Some minor dings are on the doors, but not too noticeable. You'll see on the Carfax that we had 2 rear thumps within a 2 month period (annoying Louisiana drivers!), but they were purely cosmetic with no other effect on the car. They were perfectly repaired by insurance. In fact, the scratches were so unnoticeable I would not have bothered to fix them, except that my wife insisted. Since then, some unknown driver knicked the bumper in the parking lot, and I simply refused to bring it in. See the pictures; it's minor. And we had a flat tire a while back and installed a new tire. When the 3 other tires got replaced (they are like new), we kept the nonmatching tire because it had plenty of tread (similar to the others). It's a good buy if you want to save on gas.
