The engine has been well maintained and still runs strong. The oil has been changed every 5K miles using Rotella T exclusively since I bought it used with 50K miles on it in 2003. There is no smoke in the exhaust or signs that it burns any oil, it has passed the last 3 Colorado annual emissions tests by a wide margin. It has gotten a dose of injector cleaner three or four times a year and gets good fuel mileage for a vehicle its size. This truck is set-up for towing with 6 speed manual transmission, turbo boost and EGT gauges (the boost gauge doesn’t always work), Reece 5th wheel hitch, a 2” receiver hitch and Tekonsha Prodogy trailer brake. The stock air filter box was replaced with the Ford AIS sever duty air filter box for improved performance. This truck does show signs of its age and mileage. There are a number of pits and scuff marks in the paint but it has a clear coat so overall the paint is in good condition. The front carpet is worn and has a couple of holes in it that would easily be covered by floor mats. The seats are in good condition and still very comfortable for long trips. The truck has lived in Texas and Colorado so very little rust for a truck its age. That is, except in the bed. This truck was used by a small landscaping company for a couple of years so the bed is pretty beat-up, dropping my 5th wheel travel trailer on it didn’t help any and the tail gate is missing. The title is clear and I have it in hand. A new water pump, thermostat housing and fan clutch were installed a few weeks ago. The buyer must pickup the truck locally or arrange for shipping.
