1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass S With Number's Matching Factory 455 Engine Up for bids is this privately owned 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. Equipt with its original number matching 455 cubic inch engine, Automatic Transmission, and 12 Bolt Posi rear end, makes it a more desirable car to own and drive. Note: Upgraded to the rear end are 3:73:1 gears. It is a 4 wheel drum brake car, but also equipt with its original A/C components still in tact. The only Modifications to the engine are an edelbrock intake manifold, headers, and a flow master exhaust system complete to the rear horns exiting out of the bumper cutouts. The interior is all stock original with bench seat and column shift combo. The seats, interior panels, and headliner are in original white, with black dash and carpet. There are no tears or rips anywhere, and the dash is near perfect with no cracks on it. Has all seat and shoulder belts in place, the radio is aftermarket, and all interior lights are in workin order. There are also a few after market guages mounted in the car. Tachometer, oil and temp. The exterior has had one repaint since new but it is an older paint job. There is no bondo in this car. Body and all floor sections thoughout are solid as is the entire frame and rails. the bottom insides of the doors are nice with no scaled rust, the inside of the truck lid is solid, there is a little surface rust on the bottom of the drivers fender, a nickel size hole in the drivers door at the bottom rear of it, and a little bubbling on the drivers side of the trunk lid. Spare and jack are properly mounted in place, the wheels on the car are 15" Centerlines with Radials mounted on them, the car has very good glass,the bumpers are in exceptional condition, and all stainless trim is in great shape. All exterior lights, markers, and signals work properly including the reverse lights. It could use door weatherstrip replaced because its original and has some cracking in it. Previous owner tried to semi clone it into a 442 by painting stripes on the hood, putting the wing on the rear trunk lid , and a 442 emblem in the front grill. This car is a joy to drive. it is very tight and responsive, has plenty of power, shifts on a dime, and gets looks everywhere you drive it. It is a turn key drive anywhere/any distance car.
