This is a real 1971 455 H.O. 4-speed TRANS AM. These cars are very rare and desirable and have become difficult to obtain at a fair price. We purchased the car as part of a multi car Trans Am package. We currently have two 72 T/A's in the midst of a total frame off restoration. At this point, there really isn't anytime to give this T/A any attention. The 71 H.O. motor is complete and is dated period correct (nom). It has correct intake, 191# round port H.O. heads, H.O. Ex manifolds and even the electronic switches on the carb to activate the shaker scoop. The previous owner had done a considerable amount of work to this car and at this point, there are some items that need to be addressed. In summary, this real 455 H.O. car will make an excellent project for someone to complete to their desired level, and will provide an excellent return on investment. The tires and rims belong to one of the 72 H.O. cars that are in restoration and are not included with this sale. Some radial T/A's on rims will be provided and installed.
