THE ITEM IN THIS LISTING IS : 1970 Pontiac GTO project car.Needs a full restoration but is a nice soilid car to start with. I got this car from a guy who took it totally apart in 1996 thinking he was going to do a restoration, well 20 years later he decided he was not going to get to it. I bolted the car togethor, but it is loosely bolted togethor. I took pics of the frame so you can see how nice the frame is, the vin number is still visable on the frame. The floors are in very nice shape, only needeing minor repair. Th passenger side floor needs a small patch right at the seam of the toe board, the driver side needs a little more, but most can be patched and you would only need the toe board patch. The quarter panels are original, may be able to save the passenger side but the driver side needs to be replaced. The fenders and hood are rough, but maybe fixable, these parts are available new and the quality is very good. The endura is strait but will need to be filled a little, very usable original endura. The doors are rough, but this comes with a pair of door shells that are very nice. It has a little bit of rust around the back window, but repairable. The interior is missing the front bucket seats, the dash needs to be recovered, the radio opening is uncut and stil has the original radio in place, the back seat is there and is a good core, the door panels are from a 1971 GTO, green in color, but they metal panels are there. The original drivetrain is gone. I does have a 1968 vintage 400 pontiac motor that was rebuilt, unfortunately moisture got into the cylinders and it will need to be rebuilt again. Looks like it is standard bore, so you should be able to bore it 30 overand be fine. The is no transmission, does come with a bell housing. The phs documents say this car is Pepper Green/Green Interior/ with a 400 4bbl manual transmission. It does not have many options, here is the phs sheet : 4 spd trans g78x14 ww fg w/cov-dlx mats-fl-frt safe-t-track radio p/b pwr strg-var That is all that came on the car. I do have a box of parts that come with this including headlight bezels, parking lights, fender side marker lights, seat belts, a bell housing, and some other misc. parts. Over the years some things went missing such as the front seats, front wheel well, some trim, etc. Car is about 95% complete. It is what it is, the pictures show the condition, assume everything needs to be worked on or replaced, but it is fairly complete. Call me to discuss.
