2014 Ford Transit Connect XLT minivan with only eleven hundred (1100) miles. It smells new and the factory sticker is in the glove box and photo included here. It is the XLT model which comes with backup camera, sport wheels and exterior and interior trim enhancements. This model has fold down seats and a very tall interior heigth. It runs, drives and handles like a new vehicle. It has a 2.5 liter engine and is rated for towing. Some of these come with a factory tow hitch so the engine is strong. The fuel economy on the sticker indicates 20/28 mpg. The MSRP reads $26,015 and indicates that it is the International Van of the Year. My price is $14,900. Included in the photos are 2 photos of the Transit before I made repairs to the front. You can see the extent of the damage and there was no damage elsewhere. The damaged items were professionally replaced and it performs perfectly. More pre-repair photos available. I bought it from a rebuilder wholesaler and made the repairs myself. My intention was to use it in a business that I had planned to start. The business idea did not work out so I need to sell it or make it my daily driver. I have found it to be very roomy, comfortable and run to drive. The economy is pretty good for a van also. The warranty is still valid according to the local Ford dealer. It shows a in service date of 10/31/2014 and comes the typical Ford warranty. The warranty is not something you should take my word on. If someone is interested in it they can phone their Ford dealer, give the VIN and the dealer will give them the warranty details. My past experience in these matters is that half of the warranties are cancelled and half are not and it seems that I was fortunate on this one. This vehicle differs from the earlier Transit Connects. The 2013 and earlier were made in Turkey and quality was lacking. The 2014 and later are made in Spain and share the same parts as many of Ford's other vehicles. There are reviews of the Transit Connect on You Tube and it is getting very high ratings. The window sticker reads that it is the International Van of the year. It has a lot of headroom. Not enough to stand up but enough that it helps loading and unloading items in the back. The seats fold to the front or can be removed if one needs the room for freight. You are welcome to have a local shop put it on a lift and inspect it top to bottom. I understand that some people will have concerns and I would like to accommodate them. I do not ask for payment until you have test driven and inspected the vehicle. I do ask for $300 deposit by Paypal which is refundable if you choose not to buy the car after inspecting it. The deposit is to ensure that the buyer is serious. If buyer does not come to inspect and test drive within 10 days then deposit is not refundable because I must relist the vehicle and start the sale process over. I hope you understand this situation.
