This 1969 Ford Thunderbird Thunderjet is an eye catching muscle car, even in its present state! 2 1/2 tons of old fashioned American steel with a 7.0 liter, 429ci, 390 hp V8. This is a fantastic project car that will get everyone's attention when fully restored. With some work on the electrical system and a carburetor adjustment this beast will run strong! Most of the work that needs to be done to the car is the electrical system. There is a small spot on the passenger door where rust has eaten through, and rust has eaten through the bottom of the trunk, and there is a small dent on the back bumper but not a hard fix; but other than that it still looks beautiful! The tires still have good tread, the breaks work great, the emergency break works, it steers smooth and lightly despite being such a big car. Has power seats(not working), power windows(Not working), power steering, A/C and heating (needs to be fixed), The fuel gauge works and the speedometer works but is a little off. The interior needs new seat covering and new carpeting, but that'll be part of the fun of customizing this beast. I'm selling this car because I need something more sensible considering my family and work, so I part with this car with a heavy heart, but hope it goes to a good home.
