For Sale: 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80 with rear ARB locker. This truck completed a complete $30,000.00 restoration in 2012 by Legacy Classic Trucks. It has tons of power thanks to the engine swap and have proven to be a reliable and fun cruiser. It has been driven aprox. 15,000 miles since restoration and needs nothing. 5.3 Liter all aluminium V-8 with 350hp and 350 tq. Power is routed through a GM 4l70 transmission and adapter to a stock fj80 t-case. It features full California emissions and bullet-proof reliability. The suspension was upgraded with a 3” Old man Emu suspension and Nitro shocks. Front ARB bull-bar, rear Kaymar Bumper with swing away, and slee Rock Sliders. The truck is rolling on 285/75/17 BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires. Legacy installed a rear ARB locker for maximum off-road performance. Upgraded stereo, AC, heated seats, Sat radio, Bluetooth, Handsfree-calling, and new seat covers and carpet. The paint is not perfect and have Minor scatches. Non-smoker with good glass. This should help The engine install is very very clean. The undercarriage has some corrosion, but nothing beyond normal for a 20 year old Colorado truck. No serious rust, just some patina. The engine was purchased brand new from Turnkey engine supply. It is an LM7 5.3 vortex, which is the all-aluminum high-output variant. It has current California smog registration, so it should pass anywhere. I believe the engine reads as a 2009 Van (this is based on the ECU). The engine is also 2009. It is a non-egr engine, as Chevrolet has phased those out by this time. Has dual cats, 4 O2 sensors, purge valve, and charcoal canister, along with sealed fuel cap. It is a re-mapped GMT ECU that controls both the engine and tranny. It has full emissions, no-fault codes, OBDII diagnostics, etc. The motor was brand new from GM. Turnkey built the harness and re-flahsed the ECU. - Does the cruiser come with the 3rd row seats? It does not, but they are on eBay from time to time.
