This car is in very good condition for being 48 years old. It runs and drives smooth. The engine and transmission are original to the car, but have both been rebuilt. According to the records I have the engine was rebuilt at 40,571 and the Transmission in 1995. I purchased this car from the second owner who purchased it in Southern California in 1972. The mileage is 73,104.8. The car was always well kept. This car was black from the factory, but has been repainted. The paint looks pretty good from 10 feet away, but could really use a good buff. When I got the car it was very hazy. I hand waxed it to it's current state, but I believe that a buff with a good glazing compound would make it look even better. There is a few spots where the paint has chipped away (shown in pictures). The previous owner believed it to be a lacquer based paint. The chrome is in good shape. Both bumpers are in good shape with very few dings. The chrome trim looks very good with just a little polish. The interior is in amazing condition. The seats look like they are practically new. The carpet appears to have been replaced and is in very good condition. The door panels and dash are in good shape showing no cracks in the vinyl. The radio is an aftermarket cassette player, I do not have the original radio, but do have another aftermarket cassette player that would look more period correct (pictured). It is a AC car, but it is not connected. The power windows work on the driver and passenger doors, but not on the quarter windows. The power seat works great. The power roof is not original, but is is good working order and does not leak. It is easy to notice the aftermarket alarms, as well as the CB and police band radios. I was going to pull all of these items off, but it seemed a disservice to a car that is a time capsule of the mid-late 70's. The negatives I have found is there is something funny with the wind shield wiper wiring, the transmission has a slight leak when parked (probably the pan gasket), and the tires should be replaced. This is an overall great car. It could be brought to factory correct, could be cruised just as it is, or could be a great platform for a custom car as well. The undercarriage is very clean. I believe the only rust on the car to be surface. I have done my best to represent the car as accurately as possible. If you need more information please to not hesitate to ask and I will answer questions to the best of my ability.
