CUSTOM BMW!!!! Please Read Everything!!! Up for auction is a custom BMW 528I that has 300,000 miles of wear in most parts and some parts have had upgrades/replacements. it will take some work to fix back to top shape but you wont loose parting this out also. First off let me start off by saying This car was in the process of being transformed into a show car before the owner had to leave it for personal reasons and car got a little abused.I now have the title in my name and this car is being sold as is but i will try and list issues that are present at the moment. Please feel free to ask Questions this car does have 300,000 miles of ware n tare so please use your descrection on parts and usage.I have been driving this car for a little while now and its full of power. It has never over heated not once since i had the vehicle now for almost 2 years. this car will take me anywhere around town with no issues. Engine has been swapped and now has about 120,000 but is super smooth with no shaking and has a steady Idle, you can almost sit in the car and not even know its on. Dash does say 300,000. I have not taken this car on any long distance drives farther than 200 miles because of the bottom Oil leak and the suspension issues. AC does work but has a slow leak and currently needs to be charged. Please see list below for alterations. Ignition......the ignition has been bypassed and another start access point was created by the gear shifting lever. please see pics (original Ignition still needs original key inside to read computer for starting). The key by the gear shifting leaver is the key the starts the car. the original BMW key will need to be inside ignition or car will not start.(You Will Get 2) Engine.......The engine was swapped at about 276,000 for a certified used engine with 96,000. Odomitor now shows 300,000 but engine only has like 120,000 on it. The engine is a smooth as can be as only synthetic has been used in this engine since the swap.. (I do not have any paperwork for engine) Engine is leaking oil from the bottom....seals and gasket probably need to replaced Water Pump.....It only made sense to change the water pump when engine swap was being comleted so the water pump also has about 24,000 on it Air Filter....This car has a K & N filter connected. the housing has cracked and was ducked taped to keep together. Please see pics. Original Air Box is included in this Auction. Exterior......On the rear of this car there is a spoiler lip on the edge of the trunk and on the rear windshield there is a sun visor. Both seem like they are glued on with some type of adhesive. Extra 16" BMW Rim for full size tire After Market Head lights with Blue spectrum... (Left side Blue bulb needs to be replaced) Upgraded Rear brake lights Exterior Problems 1 of the front grilles is cracked and does not fit well into socket and moves around a little Driver side door has a broken handle and needs to be replaced. Rear driver side door handle does not!!! open door, lever does operate but I think the cable inside broken why door does not open. (Door does not open!!!) Windows are not!!!! functional.Windows do have movement and slide up and down so clips might be Broken. The window on the front passenger side motor does work but clips are broken inside of door so you only hear a crackling sound when you push the button. all other windows regulators do not have power and might need to be replaced. Paint is not in the best condition which can be seen on the Hood,Roof, and trunk but is consistent with age This car does have a few dings which is consistent with age. Sun-Roof does operate but does not!!!! open in the 90 degree angle but only slides back for open capability. Trunk lock needs to be replaced. Trunk will lock and open but is missing the outside lock mechanism on the outside which which recognizes the key. Because this is missing trunk can be open with any shark object. Suspension issues. This car has all original parts so things are starting to go bad with the age. Car needs Rear wheel bearings, Bushings and probably more. there is a humming sound coming from rear bearings. (Suspension parts included) Vacuum leak detected. there is a code that comes up for a vacuum leak. ABS sensor needs to be replaced. this has just recently went out and those of you who are familiar with this issue this causes the car not to shift unless you do it manually. ( sensor is included) Weather seals may need to be replaced. I have noticed a little bit of moisture getting into the car whenever it rains hard. Air Filter Housing is cracked. it is functioning but is only held together by tape Windshield washer resiviour does not hold water and needs to be replaced Hood release cable is broken and needs pliers to open hood Starter is going but still works. cold starts works with no problem but when car is heated it takes a couple of tries (A brand new starter is included) Interior Issues Carpet and interior is in poor!!! condition...( Please see pics) Secondary Ignition needs to be adjusted as bolt sometimes turns with key. Radio does not display word correctly but is fully functional Inside roof area is missing fabric and needs to be replaced. driver side chair movement controls are missing some buttons and have separated from seat but is fully functional Air Conditioner works but has a slow leak.
