1950 Chevrolet 3600 This truck is a nearly original 1950 Chevrolet 3600 stepside, long bed, pickup that was stored for about 25 years and purchased from the original owner family. Factory Originals The truck has zero rust and a rock solid body. An Arizona truck from the beginning.Paint is original with some black primer peaking through in spots.Mileage was reported to me as original. I have added about 2.5K miles, for a total of a bit more than 31K.All factory gauges function (oil pressure guage was added to accommodate the higher oil pressure of the newer engine).The truck has the stock 470 rear endThe truck has the stock 4 speed on the floor.Interior is original and near new.Wood bed is painted but in great condition.All window glass is in very good condition and functional.The factory original radio will go with the truck. The truck began life as a farm work truck but today can be a daily driver. The high rear end ratio provides plenty of power but limits highway speeds. It has been in two parades and one local car show. Wherever we go it always gets lots of admiring looks and plenty of “thumbs up”.
