Vehicle Detail
1962 Ford f-100 short bed, has a 1965 f-350 nose for the larger tires, 3" body lift, 9" custom suspension lift, for a total of 12" lift, will take 44" tires. Dana 60 rear with 4.56 gears and Detroit Locker with Mosier floater axels, front end is Dana 44 High Pinion with 4.56 gears and Detriot Locker with Strange axels, NP205 transfer case and trans out of a 1965 f-600. The truck may not look like much but it has a great motor, a 390 high nickel block police interceptor, steel crank, hardened rods, forged pistons with 10.0-to 1 comp cam, cam kit, Manley valves, deburred heads, Edelbrock performer RPM high rise intake with Holley dual feed 750 cfm carb. The motor is fully balanced and will turn over 6500 rpm in a blink of an eye, 450 HP. It will burn a set of 40" tires for 50 feet in 3rd gear, No brakes. It only has 9,000 miles since built. Because the motor is so good I will strip the truck if I don't get at least $1750. I'll include 44" tires and aluminum wheels, set of doors, tail gate, hood. The body has rot, the interior is rough. The frame and motor are very solid. Will part out if any interest.
