Looking to sell my 1970 Chevy c10 short bed truck. I bought this truck last year and have lots of work to it since then. It was originally equipped with a granny 4 speed, but now has a 700r4 transmission that has a stage 2 shift kit, corvette boost valve, and other upgrades (will hold up to 450 hp), a high performance Dacco 1800 stall converter, all with less than 1500 miles. The motor is the factory 350 that was rebuilt before I purchased the truck and has been bored .40 over to a 357. It has a comp 262 XE cam, Vortec replacement ch350c heads that have screw in studs and Comp Magnum roller tipped 1.6:1 ratio rocker arms, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, 750 cfm Rochester Q-Jet carb, HEI Distributor, Accel plugs wires, Hedman 1 5/8" headers into 2 1/2" dual exhaust with Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers. The tires on the truck are 275/55/R15 on front and 275/75/R15 on rear. All have around 85-90% tread left. The drums brakes have been rebuilt, new brake shoes, wheels cylinders, drums turned, new hoses, new master cylinder, but the truck does slightly pull to the right when the brakes are applied. The rear axle is the factory 12 bolt that has just been rebuilt with all new seals and 3.42 ring and pinion, open differential with a "fozzy locker" set up. It has 3" drop springs in front and 5" drop springs in rear with a frame "c notch" and an adjustable track bar. All u joints have been replaced and a new carrier bearing was installed. The interior has a bench seat that only has one small hole, new armrests, Rattle Trap sound deaden-er , new Chevy steering wheel. The body on the truck is very straight for its age and is a rust free truck! The truck was repainted years ago and now has the clear peeling and other wear and tear, but it gives it great character in my opinion. The truck has all new side markers and tail light lenses. New rear bumper and and brackets. The wheels are GM 15"x8" 6 lug rally wheels with 3" stainless steel trim rings. Two of the Chevy bow tie center cap stickers have fallen off. The front windshield has a crack in it. The truck is an amazing daily driver and zips up and down the highway with ease. I have taken this truck to the local track and have gotten it to run 14.70s on street tires when it had the original 3.07 gears in the rear axle. The chances of coming across another c10 that is this straight and solid are very slim. I have nearly every receipt of every dollar spent on this truck. Ask all .
