Vintage 60's style straight axle GASSER! 1949 Chevy 2dr business coupe. All new floors, trunk pan, and recessed fire wall. The body has that patina that some people like to clear coat over, The next owner can do what they wish. 50 Pontiac tail lights. 2 gallon spun aluminum fuel tank up front. (Not hooked up, car is running off a small boat gas tank behind the front seats. 1960's Ford straight axle front end with Buick finned brake drums. 9 inch Ford rear end. Engine is a 1966 Olds 425 big block completly rebuilt, has a Comp cam, Offenhauser 360 tunnel ram with a single 650 Holley dual feed carb. Pollished blower scoop. Custom headers, Chrome 1-wire alternator. Vintage Accel dual point distributor, TH350 trans with 3500 stall. Rims are Cragar SS chrome mags on the rear with Mickey Thompson drag slicks, The front wheels are Cragar narrow front runners with new tires. The car has basic wiring to run the engine only. Battery mounted in trunk (New Interstate) Many custom touches through out. The interior has 1965 Olds 442 tach mounted on the steering column. Original gauge cluster. No radio or heater controls. Front seats are race buckets on movable tracks. The car has a roll cage installed as well. Also included is a 51 Chev (Runs and moves, no brakes - parts car with no title strictly for parts for the gasser.) It has a radio and misc intertior trim that may be wanted. I do have a title for the gasser but there is no tag on the car. One could be made if wanted. Awesome vintage gasser! Priced to sell! Too many cars! Thank you. On Jun-22-15 at 06:18:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that I have alot of extra parts to include: I have the lower stainless trim and the rock gaurds for the car, Brand new green carpet with sewn edges to keep the green theme going if you want, The 9 inch rear end in the car has highway gears in it now, I have another center section with is a 4:11 spool if you want to go racing as well as a manual valve body for the trans. All metal fab done is top notch, This car is a heck of deal at this price. Could not build anything close to this for this money. Once the reserve is met, it's anybodys car!
