Selling one very rare and valuable Trans Am. Out of a production run of 100000 Trans am models only 1817 were 4 speed 400 anniversary cars. This car is a 80k documented car. The title shows being purchased in 1990 with 79860 miles. The car registration last registered was 1992. The miles on the car are 80405. The last owner bought the car for his daughter. She didn't like the car, so it sat. Years later the paint faded, typical of the aniv cars. So the son decided he is going to sand the original finish and rattle bomb primer and repaint. Well that repaint never happened . So the car sat some more. 18 yrs later it finds me. I park it indoors on Jack stands to restore it when I retire. But I get divorced and my stuff needs a new home. Such is life. So here is the deal. It is a complete numbers matching unmolested car . The body is a west coast car so it is amazingly solid. The is some rust issues from years of sitting . 7 dime size holes in the trunk. Some trunk lid lip rust. Floor pans are mostly solid needing a fist size patch in the pass rear pan. And a small hole or two. The worst area is the front cowl vent area. But luckily they sell the panel new for 200 bucks and it is easy to get to for the repair. The car is amazingly straight with no apparent filler. A very easy and solid car to restore. I have oiled the cylinders and rotated the engine by hand each year but have not attempted starting it. Everything seems to be there even all of the piddly emissions stuff that was often tossed on the 70s. These cars will be worth 100k in less then 10 years . They are between 50-60k restored now and rapidly on the rise. So buy one now before you kick yourself. You won't have a good excuse later when it is too late .
