Hi, for sale is my 1965 Mustang Fastback Gt 350 clone. Let me start with I love this car. When I bought it I had big plans for it but as most can attest life happens and now I hope it becomes someone else dream too. Anyway I bought it from a gentleman who's son owned it and unfournatly passed away. So some info I don't have, like the motor specs it is a built 289 that runs like a scalded dog. When I got it I had the carb rebuilt changed the oil and gave it a tune up. It is a 4 speed that shifts good, clutch feels good as well. It has a 9 inch rear and I don't know the gear but I would guess at least 373 with a posi. The car is solid no bubble's no rust that i have ever seen. Interior is great other then the carpet is a little faded, all black interior. head liner is great good glass all around. Brakes work great all four drums, Wheels look good from 10 feet but do have some marks from sitting, I spent an hour on each wheel and it made a huge difference, they shined up well. The tires have plenty of tread but do have cracking in the tread are from sitting. I also have the original wheels with it they can be cleaned up and are in decent condition. Some other things again rebuilt Holley carb, MSD 6al electronic box good fitting headers, no power steering no power brakes. The exhaust is new from mufflers back including tips and they are a pair of Magna Flow mufflers that sound great. Bumpers shine great, new door handles in and out. Things that need work are the paint is great from about 10 feet up close it has some issues, again no bubbles or rust. The car was in a three sided garage with a car cover. The wind blowing the car cover around dulled the paint in areas on the roof and rub it on the rear corners, pic included.The hood has a small dent in it from previous owners family backing into it, defiantly could be fixed not to bad at all pic included. The heat controls and the radio are not hooked up. I was told when you get into it hard it puffs a little white smoke, but not that i can tell. My dad in his Camaro told me that...lol. Overall this is a really solid fast back, it is not a show car but with a little money and time it easily could be. Thanks and bid to own.
