1997 Ford Thunderbird with the 3.8 liter V-6 motor. Automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. Has 150045 actual miles. My son drove it for about 900 miles when the intake gasket went. Intake and drivers side head gaskets were replaced (what a job). Still has a leak at the timing cover near a pressure port. It also has a new radiator and hoses. Has good tires still. I no longer have the time to put into it and my son has a newer vehicle that he drives now. Would be a decent ride if it were fixed up. My guess would be a timing cover, possible chain (chain whip has probably scored inside of cover) and a new water pump while your tearing the front off. Up to you. Great parts car also. Has good panels and glass. If not sold soon I will scrap the vehicle with no regrets as it is taking up a parking space that I really need. Car is located in Sussex N.J. 07461. You will need to tow it due to the pressured leak. Scrap after auction end!!! The pictures make it look better than it really does. There are some scratches. Mostly minor with a large one on the hood.
