This is a no reserve sale. Own a really sweet 1982 300D. This car is in great condition overall and runs on diesel using the original tank and injection system. It really runs like a top. It has a separate tank and fuel line for running on vegetable oil. The vegetable oil system is by Greasecar and was professionally installed in 2006. The car has been maintained with care. Recent maintenance done to the tune of $900 + so that it's in great running shape. New battery just installed. Greasecar is simply the best WVO system there is. It is a dual tank system, which is designed to heat the vegetable oil in the tank and along the fuel line prior to injection. This results in a clean system with no power loss, unlike other one tank systems where there is marked deterioration of performance over time. When you flip the switch to veggie oil in this car, you will feel no loss of power at all. All that you will feel is the freedom from fuel costs and the fossil fuel system. I am including the 50 gallon drum with fuel pump that I put together to filter the vegetable fuel. When you collect oil from a restaurant, you simply pour the oil through a sock filter into the drum, then pump the filtered oil into a bucket or fuel can and fill the tank in the trunk of the car. Drum, pump, and filter included. New filters for sale at greasecar.com. Also I will include one spare in-line filter that cleans the vegetable oil just before it hits the injectors. I've had the car since 2005, when I bought it and had the Greasecar system professionally installed. Since then I've had routine maintenance and minor repairs done, including new glow plugs installed twice. Most recently I had a round of maintenance done in preparation for selling the car. I'd be happy to put you in touch with the shop that did the work, should you be interested. As mentioned in the description, the hood is spotted with superficial rust. It was this way when I bought it and hasn't seemed to worsen. The rest of the body has very little noticeable rust. All electric windows work. Heat and A/C work. All interior lights work. Sunroof works manual only. I replaced the motorized radio antenna with a manual one when the original broke. I had a new stereo put in last year that will play music from an iPhone/iPod with a cable.
