This Datsun has recently come out of long term storage. It is running and driving but has a few minor issues. IT IS SELLING AT NO RESERVE Over $12,000.00 was invested, drive train is now A 350 Chevy with Chevy automatic trans, rear is a special Datsun This was an original factory air car and still has the original window sticker, cost $5522.20 new. Several invoices and bills from work and repairs Included with car are, new seat covers (needs drivers side only), new pair of racing mirrors, new headlight covers, Datsun repair manual, see photos. Body is straight and pretty solid, one or two very minor rust issues, it has been repainted, same color and needs a good buffing, the hood needs to be repainted. glass is good, interior is good except drivers seat. tires and wheels are nice. ISSUES;accelerator pump is weak, when first starting I prime the carb and once warmed up it is ok, after driving and parked for a while the trans will leak some ATF, it shifts fine both up and down shifts, the engine has a very minor unusual "tick"{ my guess is a solid that is out of adjustment or a hydraulic that won't pump up, it does not effect performance or idle. The car runs very strong, steering is good, brakes are good, shifts are good. It is geared a little low and easily lights up the tires. Electric cooling fans, headers, single exhaust(needs duals) but pretty tight underneath. Sold new in Georgia and still registered here, so NO title, it does have a good Georgia registration in my name, which all title issuing states recognize and will issue a title to you in your state. I believe the car would make a long trip but I STRONGLY advise you trailer it home and venture on short trips first. It is back in storage in my barn, I should have enough photos to show everything, E mail or call with questions and you will get quick and honest answers Front spoiler is realy low, dash is new, has a dash cover, the original key still locks either door and the hatch, engine seems fairly stock, headers, intake, very slight lope. Not a car you can just wash and enjoy, there are a few minor things to address, they are minor and you will have an exceptional car The car may remain here for several months, once paid for and at your own risk. Transporters and haulers have no problem loading at my property. Car is in Bolingbroke, Ga which is very near Macon. The 260 is a car I originally purchased to "finish"and have a really fun sleeper, it was a keeper I mentioned two small rust spots and have had 132 e-mails asking about the rust Check out the new 3 pictures, rust spot 1, at the bottom of the drivers side windshield, rust spots 2, at the bottom of the passenger side front fender PHOTO 3, The Z car safe in my barn next to my favorite car (you guess) all warm and covered waiting for that lucky high bidder.
