Up for auction is my 1970 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup. Truck runs and drives great. It has a 350 V-8 which has just been redone with 400 miles on it. The auto transmission was redone in February. Truck is a long wide bed. Let me say this up front. If you have been looking for a pickup you probably have seen all of these high prices for these vintage trucks. All I am doing is trying to obtain a fair market price for my truck. It runs and drives fine with no bad habits. In the past six months over $3500. was spent on the truck with rebuilding the motor and the transmission plus all the items that have been purchased for the truck. New parts on the truck are New tires New shocks New heater core New front bumper New body mounts Sprayed in bed liner New inner fender liners Chevrolet AM-FM Stereo radio New headliner Tuned up when engine was redone. It is now electronic ignition. All glass is good. Power steering, steering is tight and does not pull Dual exhaust plus more parts. All the original wheel covers which are very rare are present. Truck has a very straight body with no eat through rust init or body damage. Windows roll up and down with no trouble. Tailgate works as it should. Heater fan controls work and none are missing. Seat is good with no torn spots Paint is in good condition and with a wax job would look real good. Truck is a restoration candidate due to its straight condition. Half of the work has already been done with motor and trans already done. Truly a classic! Truck is sold AS-IS, Where Is. A $500 earnest money payment made though, Paypal, is due within 24 hours of end of auction. Balance is due before picking truck up. If you send a certified check there will be a (5) five day period before truck is released. I reserve the right to cancel auction at any time seeing as truck is advertised locally. I have title in hand to give to buyer. Payment methods at time of pick up is cash or bank certified cashiers check. If paying with Bank check I will hold truck until check clears your bank and mine. Transportation is the sole cost for buyer, but I will help loading truck. You can also drive it home, it should make the trip home, where ever buyer lives.
