I am the second owner of this bike and I have always kept it in my garage. I purchased this bike with approximately 2,200 miles on it at BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids, MI and that is where all service (except oil changes) has been performed. I have used 100% synthetic oil beginning around 12,000 miles. It is in very good condition and runs very well. The battery is two years old and there are 3,538 miles on the tires. Includes BMW Hard Bags and BMW Top Case. The Hard Bags both have BMW bag liners – very convenient when traveling. The motorcycle has a Corbin seat and AeroFlo windscreen, as well as the BMW windscreen. The Corbin seat has a seat-back that can be used for the rider or the passenger (when the top case is not in use). It has an aftermarket horn – louder (safer) than the original BMW horn. BMW color 689 – red. Also included are the BMW tool kit that fits in the tail of the bike, BMW battery charger and carrying case, BMW motorcycle cover in a carrying bag, two BMW motorcycle folding keys and two non-folding keys and four BMW manuals. The BMW tank bag is expandable to multiple sizes and includes the yellow rain cover. NOTE: to hold the tank bag securely in place, the elastic in the two "side arms" of the tank bag need to be replaced. The motorcycle is equipped with very high quality Motolight halogen riding lights, which were installed at the factory in Cincinnati, OH. These are controlled by a rocker switch on the dash to turn these lights on and off. The installation instructions and alignment tool for these lights is included. The engine is three cylinders, with fuel injection and a compression ratio of 10.5:1, so please use premium unleaded gasoline. The motorcycle has heated grips (two levels of heat) and ABS with dual front disks and a single disk on the rear. Note the scratches on the right side of the engine and the crack in the lower faring – my foot slipped on gravel and the bike tipped over. The odometer, trip odometer, speedometer and tachometer work, but tachometer can be a bit sticky at times. Pick up only, or you can arrange and pay for any other transportation service.
