Up for sale is my fiance's 2000 VW Beetle equipped with daisy wheel covers. Since we moved back from Boston to New Jersey, we have not needed a car, and are hoping someone will enjoy this car the same way she has. Though the car has over 145,000 miles, we have put some work in to this car to make it run very well. This car has had the following replacements over the past year: - New emergency brake- New battery- New signal lights- New air filter- New shock absorbents for driver/front passenger side tires- New engine belts- Sifter recently cleaned and re-oiled.- New tires- Oil changes Though this car has a dent in the skirt of the passenger side (see pictures), she runs like she has less than 100,000 miles. Has a well kept interior and has a working sun-roof, power windows, and power steering. We have put a lot of work into this car to make sure that when we sell it, she runs very well and wont need to have work done to her (we call her Georgette). This car has been seen by STS Tire & Auto Center in Montclair NJ for the past year and has all of the records of the work done to her since we moved back last year. If need be, we can drive over and talk to the good people there about how she runs, drives, etc. This car is also great for parts, but we'd much rather see it bought by someone who is looking to drive her (she may be old, but she has got a lot left in her).
