Very nice example of this one year only Classic Japanese Cruiser. When you take this beauty to bike night.. people will look OVER a modern Harley or crotch rocket to get a look at THIS BIKE... you just don't see a nice original, unrestored 32 year old bikes that often that can actually be safely taken out on today roads. This bike has the "HIGH-LOW" range 5 speed transmission. You can use the lower five to jet around town.. and it DOES rip!! and the higher range for freeway use or gas mileage. The range can be shifted "on the fly" Shaft drive 30,460 miles. I bought this bike from the 2nd , apparently loving owner. The Chrome is very very nice.. sharp reflection, not "brought back to life via brillo pad"... nice and crisp. Please note the scrape on the upper side of the headlight bucket,, I am pointing to it. Cannot explain how that mark would get in that place... it's clearly not from a fall. The stock pipes sound GREAT. They are in very nice shape with their original baffles. Note the scrape on right pipe on the underside of the engine. You cannot see unless use crouch down to see it. There is NO HINT of rot or rust thru on these pipes. Finish on the engine is quite nice . no need to polish or paint or make excuses guages and all lights and starter work just fine. Original Tool kit is in place Side covers never cracked and all pegs in place. starts instantly hot or cold. choke is used from a cold start. No need for choke on warm start. No need for any amount of choke to make this bike cruise great around town or on the more open road. Bike is in a nice state of tune Do not know age of the tires but are NOT cracked and pliable. see tread in pics Paint is very nice, not faded AT ALL and is an extremely nice combination of hues. This bikes really "pops" with all the chrome, black engine and nice paintwork. Paint is original. Inside tank great, never lined. PLEASE note the two unfortunate small dents in the tank I point to. paint is not broken. They are small inperfections, but worth noting as the buyer may never see the bike until it rolls off a shipper"s truck. This paint has it's original luster... not "brought back from the dead". pictures were taken in bright sun, with reflections from other parts of the bike reflecting in the very shiny paint... if you think you see a scratch... you probably do not.. please ask. Striping on the bike is really nice... not peeling , fading or funky seat extremely nice bike also comes with two different chrome racks. One with an adjustable backrest. Nice, not junk.
