This is a NO reserve auction for my 1974 Suzuki GT185 Two cylinders, two stroke street bike. Really neat older bike that I began the restoration on.I rebuilt the carburetors, put points and plugs in it, and put a new battery in it. All fluids were changed, brakes serviced.I put new tires on it as well. The original gas tank had a poor paint job on it so I purchased a new set from an Ebay seller and put matching side covers. The paint is original with a few scratches and scrapes. The paint is as shown with some nicks and scratches.The bike runs very well, It has an electric starter that works well, along with a kick starter. Pipes are solid with no rust but have some discoloration, (as does the clear coat on the engine), and it is missing the spark plug cover. Actual mileage is unknown, but engine sounds good and transmission and clutch work well. Speedometer, tach, and lights work but he tach does not return to zero (starts at about 3000 RPM). Turn signals are missing from the back, I have some that will go on but don't fit perfectly. This is a really cool bike, has a lot of power for 185 and gets lots of attention and comments. It would be a great restoration project, or ridden as it is. I have a current Vermont registration, license plate, and paperwork. I do not have a title as the state of Vermont does not title bikes older than 15 years. The registration has a form on the back to re-title the bike in the new owners name, or keep it in Vermont, the buyer will have to have it re-titled in their name at the buyers’ expense. I will need a $350 deposit immediately after auction end, and the balance by check or MO.Located at 87544, about 100 miles north of Albuquerque.
