I bought this as a project for my sons and I dropped 5k into it and they lost interest. Please see Photos and send me your questions. Can I drive it to.....?The vehicle runs, I dont think that I would drive it out of Las Vegas. The engine was leaking through the oil dipstick, the vacuum hoses were on incorrectly and I think this was causing crankcase pressure, it also sat for a few years before I bought it and its not uncommon for a vehicle that sits to have issues with the rings. I put some ring sealer in it and a a vacuum cap over the dipstick tube and the leaks stopped. It has an inexpensive tow bar that is included in the sale. How much rust? The worst area is under the hood, I will add a photo. The rest has small amounts of surface rust. I took it to a couple of body shops for quotes on a full restoration and they didn't seem to think that rust was going to be an issue. What is the condition of the top?the top is rough. the front lip is corroded and will need some fab work to get a good seal. I will add photos. Does the 4 wheel drive or the Winch work?I dont know. I haven t tried the winch, the transfer case looks good. The front hub on the passenger side spins freely and doesn't lock, so I have to assume the 4wd would not work. What else is wrong? It pulls to the left when braking. The steering shaft assembly boot is torn, the master cylinder leaks ( it might just be the gasket). The doors are a little out of alignment , they close but there is some spacing on the bottoms where they don t close completely flush with the body.(see photos) This is 45 year old vehicle it is not in perfect condition. Keep the questions coming....
