Vehicle Detail
If you think you missed the last Lebaron, then no worries. This is the one you waited for. This 1990 Chrysler Lebaron is a Gem. They are extremely collectible, and represent a great era of car which Maserati also used . This vehicle was purchased as a program car in 1991 directly from Chrysler with 10k miles; mint. We are the first and ONLY private owners to have it since almost brand new. We have owned it for almost 25 years and the title says 1991 on it still.Non-Smoking family. It has been kept clean, inside and out. This is my late father's car and we do not drive it much; we mainly kept if for sentimental reasons. We run it to town every now and then to keep the battery charged, and the car running good. The car has been 100 percent repainted by an expert body shop a few years ago. Paint is very glossy with the two coats of clear. NEVER WRECKED, there are a couple of very minor dings. The vehicle has been kept inside almost all of it's life. The interior is in excellent shape. The A/C has been converted to R-134a and works great; it blows cold air and doesn't leak. This car has the VERY rare DIGITAL Cluster which is super cool. However, we did have to have the BCM computer changed out a couple of years ago which stores the vehicle's mileage. Mileage is not stored in the cluster like most cars, so therefore the mileage displayed in less than actual. The previous BCM had about 115k on it, and was impossible to change by the dealer. It works perfectly. When I bought the BCM I bought a spare cluster to have. It is boxed up and goes with the car. It was a good call since that type were only made for Convertible from 90-91 that are compatible. Everything works on the car but the 2 small quarter windows. We just manually slide those down. The top is power-hydraulic driven and works great. The top is in good shape over all with No rips. The boot cover is near mint; it has hardly every been used. You will also get the 1990 Factory Service manuals with the car. Tires are in good shape; Tread is good on all tires. What about maintenance? The oil has been changed every 5k miles. The timing belt was changed for preventative maintenance and piece of mind 3k miles back. While they did this I had the water pump, cam/crank oil seals replaced, and front brakes which was over 1k of work. The transmission was completely replaced 12k miles back. No slips. The engine and drive train are tight. This car will drive anywhere right now. I was planning on keeping the car forever but still have one other family vehicle and decided to thin back some. The car rides great and is a beauty. It starts right up, does NOT overheat in traffic, and is ready to go. I am reluctant to sell to someone that will tear it up. It will be only sold to someone that will give it a good home or I will refund your money. 500.00 deposit down. When you buy it now, my ebay fees will not reimbursed if you can not come up with the money. I will not finance. Cash only. Title in Hand. Come drive the car. You'll love it. This is not something that you buy and it is different when you get here. This car was taken care of and it shows. It just passed NC inspection and is ready for its new home. On Jun-05-15 at 19:39:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Car was repainted since the original white dulled. The older cars, either white or black dulled after 6-10 years, due to no clear coat. Cars paints have come a long ways since then. The body shop was careful to mask off every joint. No over-spray in door jambs. It is factory quality and does not look like it has been painted. It just looks new- with no paint lines. It was painted by a professional; you get what you pay for. The only thing it needs is some of the black trim touched up which is nothing to do. It is a beauty!!
