1968 CB450- Last of the Black Bombers. From what I understand, this is a one year only model. But I am no Honda expert so please look closely at the photos and ask questions. The bike was bought from a long time owner. He purchased it in the early 70s and immediately changed the front end over to a modern (of the day) disc brake. He also put a seat of the same vintage on the bike for more padding. The bike has the original 68 tool kit . It starts on a few kicks cold, and generally one warm. The elec start isnt working and I have not looked into it. I like kick starting! Once the bike is warm it runs well, but does blow a bit of smoke under hard throttle. The lights work, but the directionals dont flash. The rear drum brake works perfectly, but the front brake will need a bleed or rebuild. The odometer shows 13090 but I have no idea if this is true or not. It does work however. The bike is 47 years old, so expect scratches, scrapes, dings, dents and rust here and there plus minor seat tears. Overall it looks great to me, but im not a fan of show queens!
