Hello and welcome to my auction. Today you are bidding on a 1982 VW Rabbit diesel Pick up truck. I bought this truck on Ebay about a year ago, and have been restoring it ever since. The truck was pretty straight to begin with; with zero rust, no accidents and had original paint( which was totally faded). I tore the whole truck apart and started from scratch. I had the truck painted in the original paint code LE3K (Burgandy) The motor was torn apart and totally rebuilt with brand new Pistons/ Rings, I will finish this List of work done and more pictures in the morning. New German Oil pump. 8. All New German Seals. 9. New Freeze Plugs. 10. New German Belt Tensioner Pulley. 11. New German Timing Belt. 12. New German Windage tray/oil baffle. 13. New Gaskets. 14. New German Clutch/Pressure plate. On May-25-15 at 13:16:56 PDT, seller added the following information: On May-25-15 at 17:50:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I tried to add a list of all work done to the truck but I guess I messed up since im not very computer literate, the truck drives like new has only 400 miles on it since the rebuilt, has almost every thing new or refurbished as the add says, Rebuilt injector pump, rebuilt injectors, rebuilt 5-speed transmission, rebuilt vacuum pump, new front and rear wheel bearings, all new brakes, new struts/upper strut bearings, new strut dampers/boots, rebuilt drive shafts, New motor mounts/tranny mounts, all new shifter bushings, rebuilt steering rack, new brake lines, rebuilt brake master cylinder, New control arms bushings, new ball joints ,New brake lines, New coolant hoses, New radiator,New tie rods. The seats as well as the headliner are new, also added very desirable opening vent windows from an 84 Rabbit GTI, the truck has also very desirable Hella H4 headlights, the windshield gasket is new too as well as a very desirable leather steering wheel from an 90 vw cabriolet, the body is mostly straight other than a few minor dings its still a 30+ year old truck, the tailgate is almost flawless, has good tread on the tires, the dashboard is almost flawless too other than a few very tiny cracks, The truck also has the factory VW rear sliding window, I might have missed a few things but would be glad to answer any questions you may have. Would not hesitate to jump in it and drive anywhere, starts and stops like new, all gauges work fine including the clock.
