Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is this unrestored 1969 fastback mustang. This would be a good project for someone looking to build a car. These fastbacks are getting very hard to find. This is a pretty complete old car. The body on it will need some work but I have replaced most of the bolt on panels with good original ford stuff so that will help on the restoration. The doors, fenders, hood are all good. The front and rear valance are good. The rear deck lid is repairable but it would probablly be cheaper to get another one. The rear quarters will need some work. The passenger side will need a little work at the very bottom but it is repairable. The drivers side will need a lower patch. it has bondo in it. The trunk floor is good. The front frame rails are good. The rear rails are good. I took a pic of the rear passenger side rail. The very back portion of it has a little rust but its not so bad that it will need replacing. It will need floor pans. They are shot. The shock towers had a few cracks in them that we welded up and repaired. This was a pretty high optioned car. It was just a plain 69 fastback but it had deluxe interior and disc brakes. It was optioned out like a mach 1 but was just a regular fastback. It could be cloned real easy. It has all the glass in it. It will need a new windshield but the rest of the glass is good. It has all the interio in it and has mach 1 gauges and clock with mach 1 seats. It has a set of magnum 500's on it. It has a 302 motor with a 3 speed transmission in it. The motor will turn free so it will run but I have never tried to crank the motor so I don't know how good it will run. I have a set of clutch pedals to go with it as well. It was a automatic originally and is still set up for an automatic but I have a set of clutch pedals to go with it incase you want to convert it over to a manual. I am describing the car as best as I can and have taken alot of pictures but as I always say if you are in question about anything please ask because it is just about impossible for me to describe every section of the car in great detail. I have a new tailight panel go to with it as well. It has a few places on it that could be patched or you could replace the whole panel if desired. It has a clear title with matching VIN numbers under the hood, dash, and door tag. This is a very restorable car. Here is a breakdown of the door tag. VIN 9F02F135763 Body 63B Deluxe interior color gulf stream aqua trim 5A-black vinyl deluxe date- 05M 5th december dso los angeles axle 3 2:79:1 trans W c-4 automatic This is the breakdown of the door tag. Look at the pics and if you have questions about anything please ask or call me at 318-278-1069. I will tell you everything you want to know about the car. The car still has front disc brakes on it. The passenger side front hub will need some new studs in it. The ones on it now are mostly rounded off. Not sure what happened to them but they will need work to. This car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. I can store it as long as needed but I will need full payment within seven days of the end of auction. There is no exception to this I require full payment within seven days of the end of auction. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for this car. This could make a nice car.
