1980 Mercedes W123 300CD Coupe Turbo Diesel The goodies. This car is running and driving!! Exciting, I know! There is a little trunk lid rust and couple of the standard spots on the rockers (see Pictures). Overall pretty good Exterior is 6/10 for the age and original state Interior 7/10 little common BS like window track alignment, driver seat cracking, and the fact that the gauges work great sometimes and sometimes not. Overall good shape. Again, that is relative to its age and the fact that it was driven daily. The car runs and drives fine, I don't know diesels but the mechanic I have had check on it didn't find any pressing issues in regards to the mechanics overall. The engine runs like a top! Tires/brakes same as when I bought it. I dont know anything about these cars so my specific answers to your questions will be limited in the expertise department in regards to Mercedes of this age and type. Its not perfect but it is not a junk candidate either. I have put a few hundred on it since I purchased it a short time ago. I am only selling it because its jetboat season! I bought it because I have ADD and thats what I do. I have a friend with 380K on his so it still has some time on the clock left. I was considering keeping it, painting/restoring it and running biodiesel or something silly or euro it out. All the coupe specific parts are in decent condition and the stuff thats ruff could be had off of a 300D parts car for pretty cheap.
