This is a very good conditions 1974 BMW 2002, car is originally from California. Since I have taken ownership 3 years ago it has always been garaged and never driven in in-climate weather. Car is mostly original with the exception of a Weber 32/36 carburetor which wakes the car up and makes it drive much better than the original Solex. Car still retains the original air cleaner to keep the factory look. The entire fuel system has been replaced with a NOS Sachs fuel pump, new fuel lines and a recondition original fuel tank. The brakes have also been replaced with new calipers and refreshed rotors up front. All fluids have been changed in the last 500 miles. The gauge cluster has been swapped for a unit with a tachometer, however I still have the original as well. The car features Behr AC, this works but will need a belt and charge. The car has a few minor flaws, none that would prevent it from being driven or registered. The tires have some flat spots from sitting prior to my purchase, they however hold air fine. The drivers seat has a couple larger tears, but all other seats are in good condition and tear free. The car is originally Granatrot Red as evidenced by the inner fenders and was repainted prior to my ownership. The factory stereo is not currently connected. This car is about as rust free of an example as you will find anywhere in the country. There is a small patch of rust under the passenger side of the fuel tank measuring approx 3"x6". Car starts right up shifts well and tracks straight. The valves could stand to be adjusted and the carb could maybe use some fine tuning, other than that this is a very solid car.
