This 1940 Ford One Ton was, to the best of my knowledge, last registered in 1973. First the bad and ugly: The grille is missing. The speedometer head is gone. The engine is seized. The box planks are rotted away and there is no tailgate.There is rust and some rust through at various places. Tires are weathered and deteriorated but hold air and only one hub cap is in place. Now for the good and beautiful: The truck is equipped with a hoist and all components seem to be in place - transmission PTO; hydraulic pump and reservoir; sub frames with twin lift cylinders. The engine compartment appears to be complete and in good condition. The radiator has the factory opening to accommodate a hand crank. This truck is equipped with a steering column and ignition switch lock which works great (it is currently locked and I do not have a key).The body is surprisingly good in spite of rust areas. The hood emblems are in place including the emblem "85" in the top center.The interior includes a cab heater AND clock. The original tire wrench is included.This unit is in very restorable condition for a 1940 model (75 years old). My reserve price is only $1,500.00.
