I’m regretfully selling my Sleeper Volvo. This car was originally built about 10 years ago, and has about 12K miles on the conversion. At the time it was done, almost EVERYTHING was replaced including the engine, trans, differential, suspension components, fuel lines, brake likes, steering rack, etc. Car drives and rides nice, hauls ass when you want it to, but could serve as a daily driver with nice cold AC, and good fuel economy (if you keep your foot out of it!). Engine/trans/ECM was taken from a 30,000 mile Z28, and was used basically stock including all emissions components. Drivetrain now has about 42,000 miles and is strong. ALDL link under dash, with working engine light. No codes present. Car is fully emissions legal in current configuration EXCEPT for lack of catalytic converter. I am including a new performance converter with the car, that I have just not installed. Car is a great package, curb weight is around 3000 pounds, and the gearing, torque, and the Detroit Locker rear make for quite a burnout/drift monster! Car is fun from 0-100, but is at ease at 70 on the highway too. Car could be driven home anywhere, and I would not hesitate to drive it to the West Coast. Having said that, this is a 30+ year old car with a 20 year old driveline- anything could happen. It could use a few things- windshield has a light crack (still passed inspection), two-piece drive shaft has a slight harmonic rumble at very certain speeds (has not been a problem, but I might consider a one-piece aluminum shaft in the future), dome lamp is broken and needs replaced, rear leather has a small split on top of seatback, and the shift lamp needs to be wired in. Seat Belt is the OEM, with the buckle of the Recaro seat. It fits me well (5’9”, 200#) but might need to be reworked if you are larger. Tach is not accurate, but speedo is, and the other gauges as well. Ice Cold AC was serviced last summer. This is not a show car, but is a great driver! Clean NC title.
