I am adding information based on some of the many Questions sent in by fellow Ebay members: Q: Any rust? A: Yes, it is a Midwest car and of course, unfortunately, it has some rust. Over the years it has been dealt with. Metal replacement, undercoating and body shop work. It's been awhile since any body work has been done, but the car is never out in the winter. This car still has a lot of potential. Q: How is the undercarriage? A: Underside: front suspension rebuilt. Sheet metal: passenger compartment front & rear floor solid. Left rocker panel replaced. Body mounts orig. but very good. Frame straight and solid. Trunk floor left upper shock mount replaced. Spare tire well orig. . .fair to good. Trunk left floor seam at rear wheel well repaired, . . fair. Trunk tail floor pan needs work, but it does latch and lock. Q: Is there a tile to the car? A: Yes, the title is complete, clear and original. The tag is located on the left front door jam, VC 57N196233, for the 57 sport coup. VIN tag does match title. Q: Does the car have any engine or transmission leaks? A: 2 Leaks are as follows: 1) minor oil, likely valve cover. Not enough for the need to add engine oil between oil changes. 2) Carburetor; fuel left side onto intake manifold. Despite having carburetor rebuilt in April 2010. Q: How is the condition of the glass? A: All glass is in very good condition no cracks. All window cranks work. Door latches and locks work, inside and out. Trunk lock works. Also, interior and exterior lighting work as they should. Complete interior dash harness replaced new. As well as Headlight, tail and turn signal harnesses. Horn works, all gauges work.
