BARNFIND 1974 Pontiac Formula 400 that RUNS & DRIVES! This car was bought from a local man who had driven the car and put it in storage about 10 years ago when his health began to decline. It was pulled out, we drained the old gas and did a few small things to make it run. The car needs a new brake master cylinder but the motor runs strong and the transmission shifts out well. He lost the key to trunk years ago and I have not been able to get it open without damaging anything. This is an extremely solid and straight car, the only rust spot I can find on it is in the lower rear quarter on the passenger side (see photo). The paint and interior are all factory original. It shows 85,686 miles. It is a P code 400 CI 2bbl with Dual Exhaust. The pictures accurately describe the condition of the car, obviously the paint has faded and the interior is obviously worn, I've tried to show its condition as best I can. It has power windows (the drivers side does not work, the passenger side does), AM/FM 8-Track, Air Conditioning, Power Steering. I'm unaware if these were standard equipment or factory options. The underside of the car is as you would expect for a car of this age, but it doesn't appear to be missing any factory equipment. The tires should be replaced as the car has been sitting for years and they are flat spotted, it becomes very apparent at about 50-60 mph. Car even has its original GM rubber floormats.
