Vehicle Detail

This car came from my 93 year old late great uncle's farm where it sat for decades. I brought it to my shop and put tires/wheels on it. It rolls and steers for loading but no motor or transmission. I have a current iowa title for it. Its only been available for purchase for a couple weeks. Reserve is set under 3 grand. This car will sell on the first listing or I keep it for myself. Factory V8 car, and factory black car with black and ivory vinyl interior if Im reading the cowl tag right. Rear axle looks original. Boxed frame looks solid throughout. One of the middle passenger body mounts is rotted out but the rest look good. The doors appear to be from a 150, and they are rough but they open/close and latch correctly. The side windows are cracked and dont function. The fenders seem very savable, but the rear quarters are junk. They look solid but whoever replaced them did a very poor job and the upper contours are very wrong, just not done anywhere near correct plus beat up in spots as well. The trunk pan is impressive for an iowa car, only found a couple little areas needing patched. The spare tire well is amazingly all there. The trunk lid is pretty beat up but does latch and open with a screw driver. The hood hinges work good and the hood safety latches. The hood appears solid along with the inner fenders and rad support. The roof skin has a tiny soft spot along the drivers side drip rail but otherwise pretty solid and not beat up. The rear bumper is junk, front may be usable. The interior is mostly there, all seats and side garnish moldings in place. The floor pan is very rotted. The dash has had some hacking done to the radio hole. Overall this is a pretty complete project with the right factory options for a 50s hotrod, has enough structure to save and comes with a title. I have other pictures, just ask to see them in a msg. Vehicle is sold AS-IS where is. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and concerns. Make sure transporter has a winch. The vehicle is fine sitting on my property for a few weeks awaiting transport. A NON-refundable deposit of $200 is due within 24 hours of listing end. Full payment is due through wire transfer or cash in person within 3 days of listing end. If any of these conditions are not followed the vehicle will be resold. NO REFUNDS. Thanks for looking.
