Quick note: I did purchase the AutoCheck Vehicle History Report for my F-150. It supports all of my claims 100%. One owner, never damaged, no negative history, etc... It gets a big plus rating on their scale. There was no option for me to post the report within this auction. Again, both Carfax and AutoCheck show perfect, one owner history.Normally when I sell a member of my collection I feel the need to provide a long-winded and drawn out written description. That simply isn't necessary for my F-150. The photos will do a superb job of speaking for themselves. Originally sent to Kendall Ford in Eugene Oregon but actually sold new in May of 1996 here in Portland at Courtesy Ford. That dealership is still operating today. In fact, most of the servicing has been done where she was bought new. I still have original documentation, owners manuals and even the factory window sticker in the glove box. By most opinions, this truck represents the end of an era for the very best built Ford trucks of the F-150 line and finding them in this condition is all but impossible. The tried and true 5.8 liter 351-V8 engine was one of the greatest. This truck is outstanding in every way and one of the nicest you will find. Has been well cared for everyday of it's life. Interior and exterior are in beautiful condition. She is mechanically excellent as well. Runs and drives like she looks. If a picture truly is worth a 1000 words that is absolutely the case here. I will make brief comments under certain pictures throughout the photo display. All of my eBay experiences have been enjoyable over the years as I've sold members of my collection. I'm grateful for the kind words and compliments I've received. My opinions have guided me well and I stand behind them but please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions and observations and they may differ from your own. This is my Truck and these pictures are true to her in-person appearance. Thanks for your time, DAVE EXTERIOR: I fully understand that digital photos on a computer screen can at times be misleading. I assure you that this is what my truck looks like in person. I have a luxury that the rest of you don't. I can walk out to the garage and see her which I have done several times while writing this description. Also, I will make note of any flaw worth mentioning (there are very, very few). The canopy and bed liner have been on the truck since new so the bed is MINT and has experienced light-duty use only. The body and paint are gorgeous. Never damaged or repainted. The original finish holds a high shine and gloss. Even the original pinstripe is 100% intact. There are no dents or dings to document. The chrome bumpers and grille are excellent and have NO tarnish. All glass is crystal clear. The appearance of the truck is impressive and spectacular when you consider she's almost 20 years old. Beautiful from every angle as you walk around her. INTERIOR: Just like the rest of the truck the interior is excellent. The fabric on the driver seat is normally worn and torn. NOT on my truck. The interior is pristine from top to bottom and has never been smoked in. ENGINE AND MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The 351 runs perfectly and at 113,000 miles is performing just like it should. Starts immediately every time and runs as smooth as glass. No ticks, misses, hiccup's or noises of any kind. Only notable mechanical complaint- There is a typical main seal oil leak. Nothing out of the ordinary but needed to be mentioned. Otherwise, the truck is tip-top. The transmission shifts like new. The transfer case engages flawlessly in all 4X4 modes. The brakes, suspension and steering components feel tight and sound. As stated previously, she runs and drives like she looks. Reflections are normally only seen in darker colors. The paint on my F-150 holds such a high shine that reflections are easy to see. That's me waving as I snapped this pic. Hello- This truck came with the much more desirable manual locking hubs and transfer case. The push-button electronic units had issues. The original chrome wheels are excellent. No rust or tarnish. The Yokohama tires are almost new. The paint on the canopy was starting to fade above the sliding windows. I wanted it to match the high quality of the rest so I painted the upper areas. It looks gorgeous. The very top flat surface of the canopy shows slight fading but unless you're 8 feet tall or on a ladder it's a mute point. All body panels fit and line up perfectly. These license plates are the only set to ever be mounted on the truck. One of the only exterior flaws to point out is the rubber side molding on the driver door. It is faded. Every piece of exterior trim is original but for some reason just this one is noticeably faded. Minor blemish but I'm a detail oriented person and wanted to mention it. Some dirt must have been on the heel of my shoe. Even the floor mats are usually spotless. I'll make sure they are perfect for the next owner. PLEASE NOTE: The steering wheel is perfect. I removed the wrap that has been protecting it for many years and it left residue. Since this photo I have cleaned it. It came right off. Yes, the roof liner is flawless. Double sliders. Canopy and rear window. I'm not that concerned with expensive sound systems so my Ford still has it's factory AM/FM Cassette and it works perfectly just like everything else. All gauges, dual gas tanks, every light, horn, wipers w/delay, heat & A/C, cruise control, power windows, locks and mirrors all operate correctly. The windows go up and down quickly and the cruise maintains exact desired speed. Rear seat pretty much never used. Even the top of the dashboard is like new. I did NO scrubbing before taking all of these photos. This is how she always is. Full gauge package with tachometer. The sunlight makes the tach appear as if it does not illuminate green. It does!! Every dash light is bright. Desirable manual transfer case. All modes engage perfectly. The canopy still looks excellent. Tailgate and bed are in amazing condition. With one finger on the wheel at 70. Optional limited-slip front and rear differentials. Original spare has never touched the ground. Undersides are excellent. We do NOT salt our roads in Oregon and this truck has never been exposed to chemical de-icers either. Beautiful undersides. This is the original and only title ever issued for the truck. I'm hoping that my appreciation for this amazing Truck is contagious and that your impression is fully formed by this point.
