1972 Volkswagen VW Campmobile Westfalia Westy Running Project Bus - Arizona AZ THERE ARE MORE PICTURES BELOW. Bus is in overall good shape for its age. It is a prime candidate for restoration or to drive as-is. Purchased this vehicle from an estate, so I do not know much history to it. Most cabinets, etc appear to be original and intact other than the fixtures directly behind the front seats. The only rust I found on the bus is on the front floor pan which I have pictured. There was a piece glued to the floor to patch it, but the floor is still solid feeling. There are some scrapes and dings, which is to be expected of a vehicle this age. A majority of the tent is missing, so it will need to be replaced. The front of the pop-up is screwed down, as I believe the front hinges need some work. Motor appears to have been rebuilt pretty recently. Was registered and street worthy last year. Bus does run and drive, but will need a tune up and some carburetor adjustments. I installed a new electric fuel pump in place of the previous one. All gears work, but it does pop out of 2nd from time to time. Not sure if it's linkage, etc. All in all this is a great project, ready for a new home. Please feel free to ask any questions. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping from Tucson, AZ.
