Vehicle Detail
This is a 2004 BMW 330i sedan with Performance Package (code ZHP), Premium Package, and Cold Weather Package. It is Oxford Green Metallic over Natural Brown interior. A few of the key additions from the Performance Package: -10 hp & 8 lb/ft (for 235 hp and 222 ft/lb)-Sport suspension-M aerodynamic package-Sport seats-Alcantara steering wheel-Style 135M 18" wheels If you wanted an M3 sedan in the US during the mid-2000's; you were out of luck. BMW didn't sell one here. But the ZHP package made a 330i pretty close. Out of just over 2000 cars listed in the ZHP Registry, this is one of only 6 in Oxford Green. It is one of only 2 sedans in this color combination, and the only one with manual transmission. I am the second owner of this car. I bought it approximately two years ago and put about 10000 miles total on it in that time. The water pump and thermostat were changed prior to my purchase. Since I've owned the car, I have tinted all the windows, replaced most of the brake components, front control arm bushings, and the trunk trim piece that houses the license plate lights/trunk release. The original brake rotors were worn, so I replaced them with Stoptech slotted rotors. The calipers are refurbished factory units. The pads are Akebono Euro Ceramics, and it has ATE Racing Blue fluid. The license plate trim had to be replaced because one of the light housings would no longer hold the lens. All work was performed at Hendrick BMW in Charlotte. Other than that, it's needed nothing but oil changes. It has a BMW cargo liner in the trunk. The previous owner installed an AUX audio plug in the glovebox. Included are the old trunk trim piece and the front license plate mount. The car is, overall, in good condition. It is a daily driven, 11 year old vehicle and does show some wear. The paint, especially on the front bumper and hood, has rock chips. There are a couple small scratches on both side from careless doors in parking lots. I've tried to provide a good idea of the paint condition in the provided photos. It has some scuffs on the wheels. There is some minor wind noise from the driver's side window. Occasionally, the navigation cannot access the DVD. No accidents. The interior is in excellent condition. There is some wear on the front, center armrest and the driver's seat. The Alcantara steering wheel is worn (as most are, which is why BMW later changed to a leather-covered wheel). Mechanically, it is on good condition. The engine starts easily and runs well. Shifting is smooth. Overall, a used but well cared for sedan. I've uploaded more pictures and some videos here:https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B1-Xq4Mi4TjGfjZFWVdpOUU2VU1jUDVITDFucFdSNWkyVkVQTFZnb0JHcHROTHNHT3UyR0E This is my ideal E46 configuration, and I really enjoy this car. But I'm a car junkie, and it's time to try something else. Mileage will increase slightly during auction, as the car is still my daily driver. If you have any questions about the vehicle, please let me know.
