Vehicle Detail
1933 Chevy Truck, This is a project that needs to be finished, but all the hard work is done. This was a running, driving, stopping hot rod, but the flywheel ring was bent from loading it onto a trailer mishap. A new flywheel will come with it. ** Note- the white wall tires seen in some of the pictures will not be with the truck, however almost new big and little blackwall tires will be on the truck. Most everything on the truck is new. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and ready to go. This will be a radical, fun hot rod with about a weekend worth of work done. Its to the point, that you could spend a little time and a little money and put the finishing touches on it and make it yours. I have receipts and a build book that will go with this truck. No short cuts were taken. I have to many toys and need to let this one go. • 2x4 square tubing z-frame, designed specifically for this truck featuring: o Exhaust cutouts to run underneath if so desired o 3/8 inch steel plate gussets for strength and support o Completely powder coated • Brand new front end -- round straight axle, spring, kingpins, wishbones, shackles, components • Refurbished drum brakes with all new brake lines • Original Artillery wheels (they have been sandblasted, powder-coated and balanced to the specialty radial whitewall tires), with caps • Refurbished cab: o Has been sandblasted and strengthened o Double rear panel eliminated and new bead-rolled sheet metal welded onto body § o Original window cutout and grafted into new rear panel o Chopped 4 inches all the way around o Channeled 6 inches over the frame o 1x2 and ¾ inch square tubing to frame out the body o New sheet metal floor (bead rolled for strength) and tunnel o Newly fabricated front windshield support, piano hinge and glass o Electric rear window (not hooked up, but it has been tested and functional) with new glass o Newly rebuilt metal visor (pinholes filled and new sheet metal grafted where needed) • Drivetrain: o 350 SBC (unknown mileage) with newly rebuilt Saginaw 3-speed transmission o Brand new clutch disc o Rebuilt quadrajet carburetor o Unknown rear end (I think this is a 9-bolt with a 3.55 ratio) o Custom fit headers • Brand new radiator o Custom radiator frame mount (detachable) o Grill shell shaved and shaped a few inches o Light bar mount / grill guard o New bucket headlamps with blinker inserts • Custom chain steer unit o Drives and steers awesome - very smooth o 1:1 ratio, no power steering needed o Brand new vega steering box • Brand new racing pedal w/attached master cylinders for brakes and clutch • Heat/Noise mat, ¾ inch plywood and panels complete the floor • Custom pearlized white tuck/roll and metalflake green seat dash and steering wheel o Black tuck/roll front visor liner, wired for satellite radio (included) o Wired for wipers (motors included -- blades not yet sourced) • Under dash toggle and push button ignition • POR 15 and epoxy primer has been used to protect the cab until its time for paint This will take very little work to get back on the road: • Bent flywheel needs replacing -- get this fixed and a new battery, and this will be a driving Things that have yet to be finished: • Rockers will need repair (vehicle was high centered on a trailer -- hence the flywheel and rockers) -- but not necessary to drive • Could use interior door skins, upholstery (if desired) and glass) • The only work performed on the bed so far is the frame and a plywood bed floor • Needs instrument cluster -- currently has a 53 ford cluster shell
