This is a 1948 Olds that I purchased several years ago with the intention of restoring it. Over the last few years I have been gathering many parts for the restoration. I have recently come to the realization that I will not have the time needed to devote to such a project so I am offering up this vehicle for sale along with all the parts. It would be a great car to restore or use as a parts car. This model was a late 1948 introduction so very few of them still exist today. It is a complete car with a straight 8 engine and transmission but it has some serious rust issues. The chassis appears solid but it will need floors and doors. The engine is not running but it is free and not seized. I have two perfect front fenders, also an original NOS rear driver's fender. I have the outer rocker panels. I have the rear filler panel and I have front and rear driver quality original bumpers. I have a spare steering wheel and tail light lenses with the bezels in excellent condition. I also have an Oldsmobile 303 cubic inch v-8 engine that came out of a running 1949 Coupe (not pictured in the ad) It will need to be rebuilt but my plan was to install this in the 48 in place of the straight 8. I do not have a title for the vehicle the vehicle will be sold with a bill of sale.
