This 1969 Beetle was totally restored six years ago. It was a totally rustfree car and in excellent original condition. Never any rust or accidents and always stored in the winter and only driven in the summer months. Sold new at Pine State VW in Bangor Maine back in February 1969. It was built in October 1968. Finished in it's original color combination of "Toga" white and black vinyl. It was restored by a shop in Hyannis Cape Cod. The car was totally disassembled before being painted. All of the glass and rubber was taken off. The glass is all original but all of the rubber seals are new. In September I had a complete service which included a valve adjustment, spark plugs, wire set, oil & filter change and a brake fluid flush. All of the wheel cylinders have also been replaced. I just replaced the carburetor with a rebuilt H30/31 PICT from Volkzbitz. This a rebuilt German VW original carburetor and not some junk carb. from Brazil. I have receipts for over $20,000! This car can be driven cross country and drives like a new Bug! All (5) tires are new and included are the jack, spare tire, tool kit, (3) sets of keys, and owner's manual.
