Vehicle Detail
Originally bought brand new from the famous "Ma" Reeves when she had her shop in Easley SC, this is a pristine example of a 1985 GS1150E. This bike is bone stock original other than nearly new Pirelli Demon Sport tires, no modifications. This bike has NEVER been down or even dropped. Exhaust has no scratches. One owner, original title, owners manual and tool kit. Tank and side covers are perfect. Front fender has one scratch. Tank is clean inside and out. Comes with new K&N filter, Lower mount 1150ES handlebars as well as spare RH standard handlebar mount. Also has spare front seat professionally recovered in leather. Needs battery and carbs cleaned, been sitting about 6 months. Ive got a Bking and a ZRX, just don't need it anymore. Always garage kept. If you want a fine example of an 80s muscle bike-this is it. Vance and Hines ran this bike to many pro stock championships and this engine is still being used today by Professional drag racers. Bigger valves, Cams and Carbs make this one of the most desirable bikes of that era. No disappointments. More pics available on request. thanksOn Apr-20-15 at 11:52:17 PDT, seller added the following information: After numerous requests for more pics I have added some for everyone instead of sending individually. Many thanks and happy biddingOn Apr-22-15 at 10:59:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention I have both original keys... it made reserve, let the battle begin. thanksOn Apr-25-15 at 05:15:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Ive had many more questions, ill try to answer them all here. There are NO broken tabs, scratches or stress cracks on either side cover. As I said-perfect. No scratches on instrument cluster or face of gauges. Turn signals, as most of you are aware in the early to mid 80s Suzuki experimented with a type of turn signal stem designed to bend and flex but not break. They failed. almost ALL these bikes have had problems with the rubber stalk deteriorating. There are 3 solutions, I almost certain Suzuki still sells them at a premium price, EMGO also makes reproductions that are fairly priced. Most ppl just remove the stem and use turn signal itself. Doesn't stick out too far and still looks good. Theres a thread on GS resources on how to do this. There are no dents or dings on front or bottom of exhaust. There is one very minor scuff on front seat, appx 1/2 inch long x 1/16th inch wide. Barely discernible to the naked eye. There are NO rips or tears on front of seat. Any more questions feel free to ask. I will respond asap. On Apr-25-15 at 14:37:01 PDT, seller added the following information: For the doubters, I have provided a picture of original title, thanks
