If you're a Jeep Enthusiast, you know how difficult these are to find. There were only about 240 of these Ever built! Essentially, this is a CJ8, or Scrambler ("Overlander" As it is known Outside the U.S.) with what is commonly referred to as the the "World Cab,". This hard top is unique to the Alaskan Postal and is complete with driver's and Passenger doors as well as the original rear door which are unique only to these vehicles. Other Jeep doors will not fit without modification. This Jeep was used by the U.S. Postal Service in Alaska, and therefore is Right Hand Drive (RHD). This Jeep Runs and drives very well (Especially for its age and condition). But will obviously need some work. Clean and Clear Alaska Title Brand New Tags are good in Alaska until 2017 Right Hand Drive AMC 258 Inline 6 Cylinder Engine Chrysler TF 999 4spd Automatic Transmission Dana 300 Transfer Case Dana 30 Front Axle Dana 20 Rear Axle 4x4 Works Great! Heater works well (important here in Alaska) As you can see from the pictures, this Jeep does have some rust especially around the wheel arches and floor boards -Expect have to replace the floor pans and areas where they meet the body.
