Great driving 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. Original 5.7 V8 and automatic transmission. This California Corvette recently passed smog with flying colors (shown) and it is registered until 2016. It has been refreshed mechanically. Fully rebuilt power disc brakes, fully rebuilt steering system from the box to the bushings. Completely rebuilt suspension and front end. Rebuilt carb, upgraded ignition, new catalytic converter, full tune up. Starts right up, runs very strong and stays cool. The original Automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Brand new tires on rare US Corvette aluminum staggered wheels. All new rubber weatherstripping from the doors to the T-Tops. Thousands spent on parts alone over the last 2 years and all of the work mentioned was recently done. The body is all original and it is laser straight with no previous repairs. No rust at all the underside is very clean as shown. The headlight doors pop up as they should and all the lights/gauges work. The original leather interior is in excellent condition.
